UK Immigration Law - Highly Skilled Migrant Program Visa

This is the latest UK immigrations law for highly skilled migrant program visa. These rules are intended to help the UK government choose from among the best workers who wish to enter UK. The HSMP assesses individual skills and capabilities and if they qualify they are permitted to come to the UK for employment. The minimum age requirement is under twenty eight years old. - Work experiences - the applicants must have a 50 points score plus ten more points for ten years work experience or more and a person ages twenty eight and above. A PhD applicant must at least have three years work experience and five years for specialists level or similar profession.

- Prior earnings - for applicants with the age of twenty eight years old or more, the maximum points awarded for this category is fifty points provided the applicant must show records of minimum earnings their respective countries of origin. There is varied income levels depend on where the applicant resides. There is a great advantage for applicant ages 28 or below.

The applicant's chosen career accomplishments will score twenty five maximum if the applicant can show excellence in their work or profession. The applicant will show awards or citations to support these claims. A maximum of fifteen points is added if the applicant is awarded for exemplary work and is recognized by his colleagues for any quantifiable contribution to the development of their respective profession or fields like engineering, biomechanics, medicine, mathematics or related field.

The UK immigration Law - Highly skilled Migrant Workers Program visa priority applications encourages applicants to pursue specific areas of study, like applicants with medical degrees are highly recommended to apply in this category. If your spouse has a graduate level position, another ten points will be added to your score.

If the applicant is outside the United Kingdom they must go directly to the Work Permit UK and wait until the application is approved, then the applicant can proceed applying for the visa as a highly skilled migrant. Every applicant shall pay the fee of 315 pounds and 335 pounds more for processing; the fee in not refundable and you can pay 500 pounds to expedite the processing.
